In today’s world, it feels like anger, fear, and sadness are everywhere we look. From the moment we wake up, many of us reach straight for our phones, scrolling through the news, diving into social media, and being met instantly with protests, arguments, conflict, and despair. We are taking it all in daily.
That constant exposure affects us more deeply than we realise. When we start or end our day with this energy, it seeps into our nervous system, our hearts, and our minds. It becomes part of the vibration we send out into the world. I believe, and know firsthand, that we are magnets attracting like energy through our thoughts and feelings, so the question then becomes: what energy (situations and experiences) are we calling in?
This is why I’ve created a free seven-day email journey, one email each evening for a week, designed to help bring peace back into your heart and create more harmony in your daily life.
I’m not saying we should ignore what’s happening in the world. We absolutely need to care and to act where we can. But we don’t need to carry all of it within us. When we do, we only add to the collective heaviness. Instead, by cultivating peace, love, and stillness in ourselves, we can send out more of what the world truly needs. You are a powerful being, and when you focus on bringing peace into your heart, into your world, you also send that out into the world like a ripple.
Here’s why this matters:
When we first wake up, our brains are in a powerful, receptive state (theta and alpha). It’s the perfect time to set intentions, create, and manifest. But if we immediately scroll through the news or absorb negativity from social media, that’s what gets imprinted.
Before sleep, our bodies and minds crave calm. Yet blue light, doomscrolling, and late-night news can disturb our rest, create anxiety, and even lead to insomnia.
So I invite you to protect these sacred windows of your day:
One hour after waking (two if possible)
One hour before sleep (again, two if possible)
Away from the news, social media and outside influences.
Use this time to call in peace, love, and harmony, both for yourself and for the world. Because when enough of us focus on peace, we truly can create a ripple effect.
