What I see time and time again is that the fear of flying is often a trigger, not the root cause.
When we work together, we gently uncover what's beneath that fear. Often, it’s something completely unrelated—fear of not being in control, a childhood memory, fear of being seen, or simply a belief of "not being good enough." Once we find the true source and clear it, the fear of flying loses its grip.

Unlike medication, which simply numbs the trigger, EFT is not a plaster.
We don’t just patch you up and send you off. We find the fear, work through the aspects, and release it—for good.

A Flight to Thailand, Fear-Free

One of my clients had an extreme fear of flying, worsened by the thought of having a panic attack in front of her children. As we worked together, we discovered her fear wasn't really about the flight—it was about being seen, a deep-rooted belief around not being good enough.
After a few sessions, her fear started to shift. She felt better but didn’t quite believe it had fully gone—until she flew. She sent me messages all the way from packing to the airport, surprised at how calm she felt. And then, from the plane itself:

“I know you won’t get this until later, but I just had to tell you—I’ve had an amazing flight. I waited for the fear to come, but it never did.”

She flew to Thailand and back with no medication and no panic—and didn’t even need a top-up session for the return flight.

From Claustrophobia to Freedom

Another client came to me with a deep fear of flying tied to claustrophobia.
After just one session, we released fears around feeling trapped, the cabin noises, and the inability to get out. She then flew twice, first a holiday to Spain, and then all the way to Australia on a return trip. She even sent me a photo from the plane during her journey, smiling, happy, and completely relaxed!

And the best part?
A year later, we were working together again, this time I was coaching her around work and life challenges. She mentioned she had another flight coming up, so I asked if she wanted an EFT top-up session to prepare.

Her answer?

“No, I’m not even worried. It’s not even a thing anymore.”

My Own Story: I Didn’t Know I Had Fear… Until It Was Gone

I didn’t think I had a fear of flying. I thought feeling anxious during turbulence, silently praying during landing, and scanning the engine noises was all just “normal.”

But as I began helping more and more clients with their fear of flying, I tapped along with them. I lead the sessions, I say the words, and they repeat—and in doing so, I unknowingly released my own leftover fear of flying.

On a recent trip to Portugal, I experienced something incredible.

Takeoff was exciting. In fact, I used to get an upset stomach every time I flew, especially on the day of the flight, and even just being at the airport. That was completely gone.

We experienced quite heavy turbulence, and I loved it. It felt like a fairground ride, and I actually wanted it to happen again because I couldn’t believe how free and excited I felt during it!

When the plane levelled out at cruising altitude, I didn’t get the usual stomach flip. I felt calm, relaxed—and honestly, I felt amazed.

I was even reading a book during the landing. Normally, I’d be glued to the window, listening to the engines, mentally checking everything was okay.
But this time? I didn’t even realise we were landing until the wheels touched the runway.

That’s what EFT can do.
